Serenity Farm & Ayurveda Retreat

SEREnity farm & ayurveda retreat

Nestled amidst lush greenery and serene paddy fields, Serenity Farm is a haven where timeless Ayurvedic traditions blend seamlessly with contemporary wellness practices. Set across 2.5 acres of tranquil landscape, the retreat invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover life’s simpler rhythms whether you’re in search of healing, rest, or a sense of renewal. Here, there are no noises, and no traces of urban chaos—only the whisper of the wind through swaying palms and open paddy fields, the gentle calls of birds, and the unhurried pulse of nature. The view from Serenity unfolds like a living canvas, quietly transforming with the rhythm of the seasons. It begins with the turning of the soil and the planting of tender rice shoots. Gradually, the fields are cloaked in vibrant green as the young stalks sway in the breeze, rooted and rising. As harvest time nears, the green ripens into a rich golden hue, a quiet signal of abundance. Once the grain is gathered, the first rains return to soften the earth. Flocks of ducks meander through the stubbled fields, feeding in peace. And so, the timeless cycle renews itself – the waters return, and life begins once more.

This expansive ancestral house is set on a 12-acre estate, surrounded by lush, sunlit greenery, a serene pond, and a temple complex. The temples are dedicated to various deities including Ayyappa, Rama, Krishna, Vettakkorumagan, Nagayakshi, and Bhagavati. Inside the Mana, the life of Sri Adi Sankara is beautifully depicted through a series of raditional Kerala murals .

Pazhoor Perumthrikkovil

The Perumthrikkovil, one of Kerala’s largest temples with circular sanctums, is situated on the banks of the Muvattupuzha River at Pazhoor. This 12th-century Shiva temple, built in the sandhara style, features a massive circular adhishtana (plinth) and a conical copper-sheeted roof. The main entrance is approached via a flight of steps adorned with banisters bearing the purna-kumbha (auspicious pot) motif, flanked by columns on either side of the sopana. The temple’s wooden dwarapalakas (guardians) add to its traditional charm.
